Factory Conditions

More and more Companies are working to ensure their products are manufactured only in factories that practice good social responsibility. Primarily, this means they treat workers fairly, pay them a decent wage, provide a safe working environment and don't use child labor. Sweatshops are still out there, and it is vital that you protect yourself and your reputation by using only good factories to manufacture your products.

Global QC performs a thorough review of the entire factory (including dormitories where applicable) to ensure the buildings are safe, provide multiple means of exit in case of emergency and provide a safe working environment for the factory workers.

Records and Worker Rights

Most factories can “sound” good when asked about their factory condition and worker treatment. Global QC does much more than that. We hand pick factory workers and conduct private, confidential interviews in their native language to find out how they're treated by the factory. In addition to these interviews, we'll question factory management on hiring practices, payroll and overtime norms, etc., in an effort to gauge their commitment to their workers.   But we don't stop there. Global QC conducts audits of the factory records looking for underage workers and any payroll or overtime violations that we can uncover. Our goal is to give you peace of mind that you products are being made by only reputable factorties.
